Empowering youth living in care homes
We have facilitated two trust building workshops with the youth living at Rainbow Children home, Himali Bal Kalyan Samrakchen, SOS children village during April and May 2024. During the workshop, we noticed that they did not have opportunity to share their opinions, ideas openly so there shy and hesitant. Playing games, creating a trustful situation encouraged them to express and be themselves. We practiced how to take care our health, emotions through nonviolence actions.
Youth actively participated in the activities and shared that they like the activities so much. They said they will continue practicing it with their friends. We also planning to meet and encourage youth as they like to go on.
