Everest Network Seminar- Tracking Progress: Visioning the Future.
Seventeen representatives from fourteen member organizations attended the Everest Network Seminar in Pokhara. The core group members including Ram Chandra Paudel (advisor of BIKALPA-Nepal) as key facilitator, Krishna Kumar Lamichhane (CBRS Pokhara), Gopal Lama (Just Nepal Foundation) and Yangchen Dolkar Gurung (Lo Gyalpo Jigme Cultural Conservation Foundation) facilitated the workshop. Sharada Sharma attended as BIKALPA-Nepal representative!
The workshop started with a discussion about the activities done by the Everest Network since its initiation. The members discussed the strengths and the place for improvement for the programs such as the virtual seminars and newsletter.
The representatives from six organizations shared their experiences of failure and success, what worked and what did not work for them. This workshop gave them an opportunity to strengthen their bond, learn more about each other and offer support to each other with their past work experiences. The network also shared financial report ensuring transparency for the members.
